Order Management Representative

Bazooka Candy Brands is seeking a detail-oriented business professional to join our customer service team. This role will work with internal and external partners 1:1 to ensure accurate order processing and delivery; it is not a call center role.

Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of The Bazooka Companies, LLC an international marketer of confections products, manufactures and markets the popular lollipop brands Ring Pop®, Push Pop®, Baby Bottle Pop®, Juicy Drop® and other candy and gum products, including the iconic Bazooka® Bubble Gum.

The Bazooka Companies, LLC was originally founded as Topps Chewing Gum, and in its early years produced a popular penny “Topps Gum” from a factory in Brooklyn, N.Y. After World War II, the company developed Bazooka Bubble Gum.

In October 2023, funds advised by Apax Partners LLP acquired Bazooka Candy Brands. Bazooka Candy Brands is headquartered in New York City. And, with an ever-growing portfolio of interactive products, Bazooka Candy Brands continues to deliver Edible Entertainment to a whole new generation.

• Order to cash flow process
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships between Bazooka and customers, managing the order to cash flow process, facilitating incoming purchase orders and data entry, providing status of orders to brokers, customers and sales, responding to warehouse and carrier inquiries, tracking orders through to delivery, resolving freight claims and OS&D issues, and other duties as required. • Drive process improvement within Customer Service
  • Look for opportunities to reduce cost, improve relationships, and streamline processes.
• Interfacing with external partners
  • Act as liaison between Bazooka brokers and 3PL logistics providers.
• Cross functional collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, New Product Sourcing, Supply Chain, and other Customer Service team members to ensure flawless and timely delivery of new and existing products.
  • Communicate orders status and problem resolutions.
• Personal development
  • Responsible for participating in learning opportunities that further develop your expertise in Supply Chain.
• E-Commerce Backup
  • Responsible for the following activities in our growing E-Commerce channel.
  • Manage Amazon.com, Walmart.com and other e-commerce accounts as they are added as backup.
  • Process and confirm orders, schedule pickups and invoice through customer portals or communication directly with customers.
  • Coordinate with customer regarding transportation needs.
  • Work with warehouse to ensure e-commerce orders are picked and staged in time for shipment or pickup.
  • Manage any special labeling and create a warehouse process for handling customer labeling requirements.

• Customer service experience; prior experience in customer service within a CPG environment highly desired; e-commerce experience preferred.
• Experience in database management; proficient in Excel and MS Office Suite; ERP experience is a plus, Oracle preferred.
• Proven problem-solving ability; must be able to work with cross-functional partners to resolution find and adapt to changing demands.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and rigorously organized.
• Passionate, enthusiastic and positive outlook towards customer service.

• Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
